Designed to accomodate both large and intimate shows from local and national artists, The Rustic is an expansive indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar where guests can enjoy the best live music in Texas in a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere - a place where anyone can feel at home.

The Rustic San Antonio, owned by Kyle Noonan, Josh Sepkowitz and well-known Texas musician Pat Green spearheaded the move into South Texas with a massive 28,000 square-foot facility. This new Rustic serves Texas-inspired and locally sourced dishes as well as some 40 Texas beers on tap and several Texas branded cocktails. The outdoor section features a stage, two side-stage VIP areas and general admission space. While the space can be cleared for larger musical acts, most of the time the outdoor section will have casual seating available.

The design idea was to use a minimal palette of natural materials, such as woods and metals allowing the material to speak for itself. Decor consists of locally sourced artifacts creating a true Texas feeling.

ID Studio 4 was asked to take the original concept we created for the first Rustic in Dallas and to customize it to the San Antonio location. Providing full Design, Architectural, and Engineering Services. 

We have just completed The Rustic's third location, in Downtown Houston, Texas, which opened its doors to the public in November of 2018. The 25,000-square-foot space with retractable roof is complete with an outdoor stage, located near an expansive backyard patio, and features its giant signature U-shaped bar at the center of the indoor dining room.
