Ford's Garage is a vintage 1920’s inspired neighborly burger and beer joint with a licensing agreement with Ford Motor Company to use Ford’s blue-oval logo and other brand imagery.
Ford’s Garage is a Florida-based company where the first location opened just a mile from Henry Ford’s winter residence. The restaurant offers a gourmet burger bar with Beef, Turkey, Chicken, and Vegetarian options paired with aged cheese and toppings. They specialize in American comfort food such as meatloaf, BBQ pork ribs, and mac and cheese. American craft beer is also a focus for the restaurant featuring over 20 local and domestic options. There are 21 locations throughout the United States and a plan to expand to a possible 7-10 locations through the DFW area.
The ID Studio 4 team worked with Ford’s Garage franchise to replicate a 1920’s service station that is filled with Ford memorabilia, including a Model A car suspended above the center bar. The bar also features prohibition-style elements of old brick, rich wood, and a hand-hammered copper bar top. Servers are dressed up as mechanics, shop towels are used as napkins, and bathroom sinks are made from tires and fuel pump nozzles. The exterior features more gas pumps and vintage Ford cars to offer a “pit stop” look. Our team here at ID Studio 4 offered Development Services, Design of interior and exterior, Architecture, MEP Engineering, and Structural to this project.
