Pizzeria Testa is an urbanized Naples Italian Pizzeria on lower Greenville was designed to bring Naples, Italy to Dallas, Texas. Centered in the heart of the kitchen are two large pizza ovens, designed after Mount Vuluzzous in Naples.
The finishes are simple and minimal, with warm woods, industrial metal, artisan plastered walls, and handmade bricks. The center dining space features large, cozy family booths covered in a warm saddle textured vinyl detailed with channel stitching to loose walnut wood dining tables with crisp white vinyl chairs and a few with oversized upholstered winged chairs. The oversized bar creates a wonderful gathering and warm atmosphere with the polished walnut wood top and traditional wood paneling. Continuing from the bar is the sunroom covered in a beautiful, burgundy handmade brick, with floor to ceiling windows, and a large wood sliding barn door to hold private parties. Off the main dining, is the private wine room with a huge wine storage display made of wood and steel. Bistro seating with marble tops, cast iron decorative legs, and cypress plants bring in the Naples feel to the patio. The white linen on the lounge furniture, to the cedar fencing, to the tall Metal structure embellished with white warehouse pendants, marry the interior of the exterior and pull the design throughout.
Pizzeria Testa is a unique design that pulls from traditional aesthetics and incorporates modern design with a mix of an urban twist for this Greenville location.
