Schlotzsky’s newest inception of the “Austin Eatery” is a definitive statement in capturing the vibe and energy that is Austin, Texas – the birthplace of Schlotzsky’s, that started as a small sandwich shop in 1971. This concept takes customers back to its roots with an Austin-Centric restaurant with the first location built in Duluth, Georgia. Schlotzsky’s Austin Eatery has an edgier eclectic and indie feel to target a wider demographic base—featuring wall graphics, reclaimed wood, amid varying textures of brick and corrugated metal, found objects, and featured seating. The restaurant features a bar serving local craft beers and a wider menu offering of sliders, tacos, flatbreads and famous sandwiches including The Original.
Schlotzsky's Austin Eatery now features live music every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and a great selection of beer and wine. The development of this new concept is to bring the Austin vibe anywhere in the country.
In addition to the numerous Schlotzsky’s projects we have been a part of, ID Studio 4 is proud to have been involved in the implementation of the concept design and production roll-out for architecture and engineering for this latest exciting and fun new concept for a great brand.
