Foot Locker is a leading provider of athletic footwear and apparel, operating over 3,000 stores worldwide with its headquarters in New York City. Their rise to the top of the industry began more than 40 years ago with an idea for a sneaker collection containing a broader range of types and models.
ID Studio 4 has been engaged with exclusively performing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering for multiple projects all over the country for Foot Locker and Foot Action (owned/operated by Foot Locker), including remodeling of existing tenant space to carving out new tenant space.
During the design process, coordination with the mall management teams and facility engineers is paramount. Each individual site is completely different requiring the various types of HVAC systems from small DX split-systems to tapping into existing chilled water loops.
With many of the stores located in California, strict adherence to the state's Title 24 energy code had to be met with regard to lighting and ventilation.
